Hanover: Another Hopewell Man Murdered

Hanover, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Another Hopewell Man Murdered: The Sandy Bay police in Hanover are now carrying out investigations into the shooting death of a young man in Hopewell community on Friday morning, January 5, 2018.
The victim has been identified as Kino Ottey, about 26 years old of Zion Road, Hopewell.
Reports are that shortly after 12:30 am on Friday, Ottey was walking along a section of the Bamboo Drive main road in Hopewell when he was ambushed by unknown assailants who shot him multiple times.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, Ottey was discovered lying along the roadway in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds all over his body.
He was later transported to the Noel Holmes hospital where he was pronounced dead.
This is the second man to be killed in the parish of Hanover since the start of the year.
