St. Mary, Jamaica ( Mckoy’s News) Haitians Fleeing to Jamaica on Boat: Jamaica coast guard were notified by fishermen when two Haitians were found at sea in St Mary coming to Jamaica in a fishing boat on Friday morning, April 19.

Two persons fleeing to Jamaica for Haiti via a small boat are now in the hospital under the authorities supervision.

Reports are that about 10 am on Friday, fishermen in the Pagee Fishing Village in Port Maria saw an unknown boat close coming into shore with two occupants on board. The two who appeared to be in extreme fatigue where assisted to shore by the fishermen.

The police and a medical team were summoned and have since began processing the them.
