There’s no doubt that Gwen Stefani is a woman of many talents.
During Blake Shelton‘s remote interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, the “Don’t Speak” singer, 50, interrupted the proceedings to give her boyfriend a quarantine haircut.
“This interview — I wanted to do it, but we actually have a schedule that we already had lined up for today and I don’t think we can put it off any longer,” Shelton, 43, explained as Stefani appeared, wielding clippers.
The pop star proceeded to shave the sides of the country singer’s mullet, which he previously announced he’d be growing out “as a symbol of hope” amid the coronavirus crisis.
As Stefani worked — at one point attempting to shave Fallon’s initials into the sides of Shelton’s hair — the “God’s Country” crooner discussed the future of “The Voice” and his work with MusiCares, which recently launched a relief fund to help those in the music industry who have been impacted by COVID-19.
“How’s the mullet? Is the mullet getting long in the back?” Shelton asked Fallon.
“Not long enough, man. You can get it longer,” the host replied. “But it’s getting close.”
