Gunshot Victim Succumbs to Injuries at Hospital

Jamaica Crime News, St Andrew: The St. Andrew police have confirmed that the second man who was shot and injured during a shooting incident which occurred along Swallowfield road in Kingston 5, on Friday, January 25, succumbed to his injuries at hospital on Saturday, January 26.

He had been identified as 27-year-old Andre Gordon, laborer of Swallowfield road address.

Reports by the police are that about 1:35 p.m. on Friday, January 25, Gordon and the other victim 34-year-old Jermaine Earlington, otherwise called “Mango Man” of Smith Avenue, was at an establishment in Swallowfield when two men entered the building.

The men opened fire hitting both men before escaping in the area.

The police were summoned and upon arrival,  they discovered both wounded men were transported to hospital, where Earlington was pronounced dead and Gordon was admitted to hospital in serious condition.

Gordon succumbed to his injuries at hospital on Saturday morning.
