Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: Several persons were sent scampering for their lives as gunmen brandished handguns and fired at random, along Hart Street in Montego Bay, St James on Monday night, September 17.
Luckily, no one was injured during the shooting, but several reports were made to the police of motor vehicles being damaged by bullets.
Reports by the Barnett Street police are that about 8:30 p.m., a group of armed men brandished handguns and fired at random, while walking along sections of Hart Street.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, it was discovered that a number of motor vehicles had been damaged by the gunmen’s bullets.
One vehicle, in particular, had its windscreen completely shattered.
Our news team learned that the men were in search of another man, who they claimed disrespected them earlier that day.
