Jamaica Sports News: The Greenwich Town Primary School, the Football Club and the Community Centre, were the recipient of sporting equiptment valued at over one million dollars, courtesy of the Social Development Commission (SDC) and the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF)
The handing over of the gifts took place recently, following the completion of a 2-week summer camp for youngsters between the ages 6-14 years, at the Greenwich Town Community Centre, where the campers were introduced to Football, Netball and Table Tennis, by recognised coaches.
Principal of the Greenwich Town Primary School, Agusta Bryan, received Football boots, balls and a Computer, the Greenwich Town Football Club got Football boots, balls, socks and jerseys, while the community Centre was the recipient of a table tennis board.
Ramario Constable emerged the leading camper and was named the participant that showed leadership quality.
