Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Kingston police say they have now made a breakthrough into the identity of a man who was shot and killed by gunmen in Central Village, on Friday night, February 8.
The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Darlon Gomez otherwise called “Truck Back” of Webster Boulevard also in Central Village.
Reports are that about 11:00 p.m. on Friday, the police responded to a report that gunshots were being fired at a section of the community known as Zambia.
The lawmen drove to the area and upon their arrival, the beheaded body of Gomez was found lying on an old refrigerator, with multiple gunshot wounds.
At the time of the discovery, the police theorized that the victim is believed to be in his thirties, has bleached skin and was clad in a pink merino, blue jeans and a pair of black slippers.
The police have theorized that Gomez murder is gang related.
