Jamaica Crime News, St James: Granville Man Held – One man was taken into custody by the Granville police in St James, following the seizure of an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition, at a premises in Granville on Monday, March 11.
The identity of the accused is being withheld pending further investigations.
Reports by the police are that about 7:45 a.m. on Monday, a team of officers carried out an operation along sections of Granville Drive, in Granville.

During the operation, a premises occupied by the accused was searched and a .38 revolver loaded with three live .38 rounds found.
He was taken into custody and will be subsequently charged.
