Westmoreland, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Godfrey Stewart High School Student Shot: a 15-year-old female student who attends the Godfrey Stewart High School, in the parish of Westmoreland was admitted to the Sav la mar Hospital in a serious but stable condition on Tuesday afternoon, after she was shot and injured at her home in Negril by a gunman.
The Negril police further reported that the shooter who is now being sought has been positively identified.
Reports are that, shortly after 6:30 pm on Tuesday, December 26, the student was at her home in White Hall, Negril when an argument developed between her father and the man who is now being sought.
It is further reported that during the argument between both men, the accused pulled a firearm and shot at the student’s father. He ran to avoid being killed and one of the bullets shot his daughter instead.
The gunman fled the scene, while the wounded child was rushed to the Sav la mar hospital, where she was treated and admitted and the police summoned to the scene.
