” Ge-Gee” Murdered in Westmoreland

Jamaica Crime News: A man who the Westmoreland police say is a violent producer, was shot and killed by unknown assailants in his motor vehicle, along a section of the Walter Cheddesingh drive in Westmoreland, on Tuesday morning, February 5.

The deceased has being identified as Celah Tomlinson, otherwise called “Ge-Gee”  laborer of New Market Oval also in Westmoreland.

Reports by the Savanna-la-mar police are that about 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the police were alerted of shots being fired along a section of Walter Cheddesingh Drive.

On reaching the area, they discovered Tomlinson who was slumped around the steering wheel of a grey Nissan Tiida motor car.

Closer observation revealed that Tomlinson had been shot multiple times to his upper body.  The scene was processed and the victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

In the meanwhile, the police have confirmed that Tomlinson was a known violence producer who has been in and out of trouble with the law.

One police source also revealed that Tomlinson was fingered as an active member of the Dexta gang, which operates out of Savanna-la-mar.
