Jamaica Crime News: Gary Ricketts Murdered in Westmoreland – One man was shot and killed by a group of gunmen while at his home in Petersfield, Westmoreland on Thursday, February 14,
The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Gary Ricketts, a farmer also of Petersfield.
Reports by the police are that the 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, Ricketts was at his home in Petersfield when a group of armed men kicked open the front door.
The gunmen opened fire hitting Ricketts multiple times before escaping in the area.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Ricketts was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
