 Garvin Wood: Motorcycle Mechanic Shot and Killed in Montego Bay

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Garvin Wood: One of St Jame’s most popular motorcyclists was shot and killed by gunmen in the second city of Montego Bay in St James,  on Friday night.

He has been identified as Garvin Wood, otherwise called Gavin, 22-year-old Motorcycle Mechanic and  Motorcycle  Stunt Rider, of Campbell’s Lane in Mount Salem.

Reports by the Barnett Street police are that shortly after 8:30 pm on Friday,  Wood and a group of men were standing outside a shop on Princess Street in downtown Montego Bay when four men drove up in a Silver  Toyota Axio motor car.

The men brandished handguns and opened fire, hitting Wood on his upper body, before escaping in the said vehicle.

The police were summoned, and upon their arrival Wood was taken to the Cornwall Regional hospital,  where he was pronounced dead.
