Kingston, Jamaica (McN) – Garbage Bags Filled with Ganga: Nearly 300 pounds of ganja was seized by police from a premises on Beckford Street in downtown Kingston on Tuesday morning, April 11, by the Darling Street Police Station officers.
Reports are that about 4:20 am, Darling Street Police Station officers carried out an operation at a building on Beckford Street. The building was searched and Ten black garbage bags were found containing about 288 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated street value of J$1.4 million.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
The police investigations are ongoing at this moment.
