Montego Bay, St James (Mckoy’s News) – Gangs Clash in Montego Bay Lock-up: according to sources, there was an outbreak of violence in the Montego Bay Lock-up, as the St James State-of-Emergency increases the volume of persons in custody, placing gang rivals in the same jail cell.
Mckoy’s News gleaned that fights in the Montego Bay jail left several persons stabbed and injured.
We learned that the outbreak was triggered after men were placed men in custody as part of the State-of-Emergency protocol, to await processing – in the same cells as men already processed and facing charges.

Reportedly, enemy gang members met up in the jail cells, causing the outbreak of fights.
