Furniture Finisher Found Afloat in St Andrew River

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Duhaney Park police are presently carrying out investigations, surrounding the death of a furniture finisher, whose body was discovered floating in a river in his community on Saturday afternoon, October 20.

The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Abraham Akinson, who resided at Queensbough district in New Haven, St Andrew.

Reports by the Duhaney Park police are that about 2:00 p.m., residents in the area stumbled upon the body floating in the river and raised an alarm.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the body of the elderly furniture finisher was fished from the water.
