Four West Kingston “Persons of Interest” Held in St Elizabeth with Ganja

Jamaica Crime News, St Elizabeth: The St Elizabeth police say they are now making arrangements to transport four persons back to West Kingston, who were recently held in St Elizabeth for Breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act and were recently listed as “Persons of Interest” by the West Kingston police.

The accused have been identified as Jashane Thomas, Shamar Harrison, Latoya Hutchinson and Romario Powell.

All four accused were dragged before the St Elizabeth parish Court on Wednesday, on Charges of Possession of and Dealing in Ganja.

Powell took on the responsibility and pleaded guilty in court.  He was fined $15,000 or 30 days on charges of possession, and $85,000 or 30 days in prison on charges of dealing in ganja.

The St Elizabeth police say all four accused should be back in West Kingston by this weekend.
