FOUR PERSONS SHOT, 2 FATALLY IN CLARENDON

Clarendon, Jamaica– FOUR PERSONS SHOT, 2 FATALLY IN CLARENDONFour persons were shot; two fatally at the Three Sisters Sports Bar in Hayes, Clarendon last night.The deceased have been identified as 33-year-old Clovis Cooke from Monymusk Housing Scheme and 39-year-old Otis Gordon of a Lionel Town address.

The female bar operator and another man were also shot during the incident which occurred shortly before 11:30.

It is reported that the police went to the bar and told the operator to close in keeping with efforts to clamp down on shootings in these establishments; the operator complied and the police left.

Mr. Cooke and Mr. Gordon along with a man and a woman left the bar and entered a car.

Shortly before driving off, a car drove up and opened fire hitting all four persons in the car.

The four were rushed to the hospital where Mr. Cooke and Mr. Gordon died and the other two remain in hospital in stable condition.

The Clarendon Police continue their investigation.
