The Westmoreland police are reporting that they have taken four Juveniles into custody for questioning, in connection with a reprisal incident, where a popular car wash operator was shot to death outside his business place, along Big Bridge main road, in Little London, Westmoreland, on the weekend.

The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Cosmond Looney, otherwise called ‘Dellie’, a Car Wash operator also of Big Bridge.

Reports are that about 11:20 pm, on Saturday, Looney was sitting inside a small shop which he operated on the compound of his car wash, along the roadway, when men traveling on a motorcycle rode to the area.

The men brandished handguns and opened fire hitting the victim multiple times, before making their escape on the same motorcycles.

Following an investigation, the police got information that a group of other men from Savanna-la-mar were traveling to the same location, alleged to shoot up Looney’s family.

The police acted swiftly, and intercepted the vehicle, leading to the four Juveniles being arrested.

It is not yet reported if the lawmen recovered any Illegal weapons during the operation.
