The St James woman, along with the sister of murdered Trelawny woman, Tamara Geddes, and her two nieces, are scheduled to appear before the Trelawny Parish Court today, to answer to her killing.
All four accused will be answering to charges of murder and conspiracy to murder, against the 36-year-old woman, who was shot to death by a lone gunman at her home in Reserve district, Trelawny, on Friday night of June 19.
Thirty-three-year-old, Tashana Young, unemployed of Salt Spring community in St James, was arrested in Westmoreland last week, for the alleged role she played as the courrier who took the cash payment from Tamara Geddes sister, Nadeen, to the gunman, in order for him to carry out the killing.
Also charged are, 39-year-old, Nadeen Geddes, the older sister to the deceased woman, along with her 21-year-old daughter Shanice Ruddock, and her underage sister whose name is being withheld.
Nadeen and her children were picked up over a week ago in relation to Tamara’s murder, and shortly after, she allegedly broke down and confessed to the police that she was the one who ordered her sister’s murder.
Reports are that about 8:30 on the night of Friday, June 19, Geddes and her 10-year-old daughter were at home when a masked man who was armed with a handgun forced his way inside the house, and held them at gunpoint.
The gunman demanded money and proceeded to rob Geddes of $16,000 in cash and her two cell phones. The gunman then demanded sex from his victim, but when his demands were not met, he opened fire killing her on the spot.
