Jamaica “Under 15” Footballer Stabbed to Death in St Mary

St Mary, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Jamaica “Under 15” Footballer Stabbed: The Jamaica National Football fraternity is once again plunged into mourning following the tragic death of one of their U-15 representatives in Annotto Bay, St Mary.

Reports reaching our newsroom are that on Thursday night about 10:00 p.m., 15-yr-old Rushawn Duncan of Cricket River district in Annotto Bay, was accidentally stabbed and killed by one of his friends.

The St Mary police have also reported that Rushawn was playing with some of his friends at a small river which is close to his home in Cricket River, when he was accidentally stabbed by one of them.

He was immediately rushed to the Annotto Bay Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.

The police have since questioned all the other boys who were with Rushawn at the time of the stabbing and one of them has been taken into custody.

It was just a couple weeks ago, the country mourned the sudden passing of the Jamaica Football Federation Director, Captain Horace Burrell.
