Police Federation Angered over Ret. Flying Squad Sergeant Murdered

St. Andrew, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Flying Squad Sergeant Murdered: the Major Investigation Division, was assigned by police Commissioner George Quallo to handle the murder case of a retired police detective sergeant killed.
Investigators say they are following several leads into the fatal shooting of retired Detective Sergeant Trevor Williams, who served the Flying Squad for more than 20 years, and was found murdered Friday morning, Dec. 1, near his farm in Bowden Hill, Stony Hill, St. Andrew.
Sergeant Williams, who retired last year was found in the back seat of his car shortly after 7am, with bullet wounds.
His missing licensed firearm is suspected to be stolen by his killers.
The Police Federation has expressed anger at Sergeant Williams’ murder. He is described by his fellow officers as
a crime fighter who feared nothing.
Williams was a crime fighter for more than three decades in some in some of Jamaica’s most challenging areas, according to the Police Federation.
