Five people were killed in two connected shooting incidents in Texas on Friday, cops said.
Three people were fatally shot inside a nursing home near Corpus Christi, and the bodies of two more people were found dead at the residence of a one of the nursing home victims, authorities said.
Police in Robstown said they responded to a report of an active shooting at Retama Manor Nursing Home at around 7 p.m.
Two men and one woman were shot there and declared dead at the scene.
Cops then said that two additional deaths took place at the home of one of the victims in the nursing home shooting.
The identities of the deceased were not released on Friday night and the shooter was still at large.
