The Westmoreland Division seized a firearm in the Water Works district, Whithorn in the parish on Thursday, March 16.
Reports are that about 3:30 p.m., a team of officers conducted a targeted raid at a premise when the find was made. One .45 9mm pistol was seized during the search. No one was taken into custody.
Investigation continues.
