Firearm Found in Bushes in Westmoreland

Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: The police in Bluefields, Westmoreland recovered a Browning pistol along with several rounds of ammunition, during an operation carried out in Left Hall, Beeston Spring, in the parish on Saturday, December 15.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.

Reports by the police are that about 12:00 p.m., a team of officers were carrying out an operation in several sections of Beeston Spring area when they searched a cluster of bushes.

The lawmen stumbled upon a black plastic bag, which was searched , and found to contain the illegal firearm.
