Fire Destroys Sections of Mandeville Court House

Latest Jamaica News, Manchester (McKoy’s News): Dozens of firefighters from the Mandeville Fire Department in Manchester were busy putting out a raging fire that engulfed sections of the courthouse building early this morning, Thursday, November 7.

Reports by the Mandeville police are that shortly after 5:00 a.m., residents saw smoke coming from sections of the courthouse, and raised an alarm.

The fire department was summoned and upon arrival, they found a section of the courthouse already consumed by the fire.

The police say they have not yet determined the origin of the fire, which is believed to have started from the inside of the building.
