Female Taken into Custody for Stabbing Murder, in St Thomas

Jamaica Crime News, St Thomas: A St Thomas female was taken into custody by the Morant Bay police, after she reportedly stabbed one of her male relative to death, on Saturday, June 29.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Everald Burke, of Main Street, also in Seaforth, St Thomas.

Reports by the police are that, about 12:55 a.m., the accused woman and a male relative got involved in an argument, when she drew a knife and stabbed him multiple times.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An investigation was later carried out and the female accused, taken into custody.
