Jamaica Crime News, St Elizabeth: The Santa Cruz police in the parish of St Elizabeth say they are presently on the ground in Santa Cruz, trying to come up with a motive surrounding the stabbing death of a Clarendon woman in the parish on Tuesday night, August 14.
The investigators say they are still baffled with the murder of Vernadine Anderson, unemployed of Corn Peace district in Hayes, Clarendon.
The lawmen say they were summoned to a location in Santa Cruz called “big yard” approximately 9:00 p.m on Tuesday, by residents.
St Mary Man Fatally Stabbed, Suspect on the Run
The police further stated that upon arrival, the female was discovered with stab wounds to her upper body. She was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The lawmen say it is still unclear as to what transpired and as to how the female met her death.
