Female Shot and Killed in St Andrew

Jamaica Crime News, St Andrew: The Hunts Bay Police in the parish of St. Andrew have now commenced an investigation, surrounding the shooting death of a woman in the area on Tuesday, August 14.

The deceased has been identified as Marsha Crossman, 36-year-old unemployed of Duhaney Park.

Reports by the police are that about 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Crossman and two other women were standing outside her gateway in Duhaney Park having a conversation.

Two men walked up to them and brandished handguns. The men opened fire on the women, hitting Crossman to her upper body. The other two women ran from the scene and escaped unhurt.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the female was discovered lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body.

She was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
