Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: A female was shot and killed, and her common-law husband was shot and injured, at their home in Denmshire Pen, Spanish Town, St Catherine on Monday night, October 8.
The deceased has been identified as June Henry of Dempshire Pen.
Reports by the Spanish Town police are that about 9:45 p.m. on Monday, Henry and her common-law husband were at home when armed men forced their way inside the house.
The gunmen opened fire hitting Henry and her male companion, before exiting the building.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, both victims were transported to the hospital where Henry was pronounced dead and the male admitted in serious condition.
