Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: 38-year-old Keri-Ann Drummond of Logwood district in Whithorne, Westmoreland, was shot and killed by unknown assailants at her shop in her community of Monday night, November 19.
Reports by the Whithorne police are that about 10:45 p.m., Drummond and a group of patrons were at a shop which she operated in Logwood district, when a man posing as a customer entered the establishment.

The man brandished a handgun and opened fire, hitting the female shopkeeper multiple times to her upper body.
The gunman then escaped in the area on foot, while Drummond was transported to the Savanna-la-mar hospital where she was pronounced dead.
No one else was injured during the attack.
