Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Officers attached to the Narcotics Division have charged a female British National for Breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act, after she was caught attempting to smuggle cocaine weighing over 2kg through the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.
Reports are that on Wednesday, June 13, the accused 51-year-old Judith Moncrieffe of Birmingham in England, was in the process of boarding a flight at the Norman Manley International Airport destined for Gatwick in London.
On reaching the security checkpoint, her luggage was searched and found to contain several tins which were labeled Curry, Coffee and Chocolate.
Further investigations revealed that the tins all contained cocaine. Moncrieffe was arrested and subsequently slapped with Possession of Cocaine, Dealing in Cocaine, Attempting to Export Cocaine and Conspiracy.
She is booked to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
