Female bartender arrested and charged for the death of male patron in Trelawny

A female bartender has been arrested and charged with murder by the Trelawny Police following the fatal stabbing of a male patron at a bar in the parish on Tuesday, December 17.

The suspect is identified as 33-year-old Tennisha Miller of Carey Park, Trelawny, who has been charged for the murder of 38-year-old Gregory Geddes, a raft captain of Reserve district, also in the parish.

Miller is set to appear in court later this week.

According to reports are that about 8.45 pm, Geddes was a patron at a bar in the Martha Brae community, where an argument ensued between him and the bartender.

The heated exchange escalated into a brawl, during which a knife was reportedly used to stab Geddes.

He was transported to the Falmouth Public Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Miller, who was taken into custody for questioning, was immediately charged by the police.
