Female Bar Operator and Teenager Boy Murdered in Bull Bay, St Andrew

Jamaica Crime News, St Andrew: Detectives attached to the Major Investigation Division (MID) are carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of a female bar operator, and a teenage boy, on Greenvale road, in Bull Bay, St Andrew, on Monday night.

Dead are 55-year-old Garland Reece, otherwise called “Ann” and 15-year-old Jevaugn Morris, both of Greenvale district.

Reports by the Elletson Road police are that about 8:30 p.m., Reece and Morris were among a group of patrons at her bar, located along Greenvale road, when a man posing as a customer, entered the establishment and ordered an item.

Reece was in the process of attending to the alleged customer, when he brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting her multiple times, and the teenage boy who was standing in close proximity.

The gunman then made his escape in the area on foot, while the police were summoned and upon their arrival, both wounded victims rushed to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
