Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: For the second time in under a week, Detectives attached to the August Town Criminal Investigation Branch have laid murder charges against a second suspect, in connection with a second murder, which occurred in August Town, this time on October 28, of 2018.
The accused man has been identified as 20-year-old Federico McLean, otherwise called “Feather Mop” laborer of Belmont Road, in August Town, Kingston 7.
McLean was taken into custody on January 12, during a joint military operation carried out in August Town.
He is now facing charges of murder, conspiracy to murder, illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
McLean who is booked to appear in the St. Catherine Parish Court on January 28, has been charged for the murder of 39-year-old Damion Ball, otherwise called “Dog Face” laborer of Gold Smith Villa, and who was found murdered along a section of Princess Alice Drive last October.
