Westmoreland, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Fatal Westmoreland Motorbike Crash: one man is now dead and another man admitted to the Sav la mar hospital from injuries they sustained in a motorcycle accident which occurred along a section of the Little London main road in Westmoreland on Monday night.
The dead man has since been identified as Carl Kerr, 23-year-old of a Darling Street address in Savanna-la-Mar, the capital of the parish of Westmoreland.
Reports are that about 7:00 pm on Monday, January 29, Kerr and another man was travelling on a Honda motorbike from the directions of Savanna la Mar towards the town of Negril, in the parish. Both men were travelling behind a Toyota Axio motor car which was heading in the same directions.
The driver of the Toyota Axio motor car was in the process of making a right turn when Kerr collided in the side of the vehicle. He along with the man on the pillion sustained head and body injuries and were both rushed to the Savanna la Mar hospital.
Kerr was pronounced dead and the passenger on the pillion was admitted in critical condition.
