Jamaica News, April 11, 2018 – Another Fatal Trelawny Crash
Trelawny, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Just three days after 25-year-old Nicaule Parchment , a hotel worker from the parish of Hanover lost her life in a bloody motor vehicle accident, along a section of the Braco main in Trelawny , another crash occurred on Monday morning, April 9, resulting in the loss of another life.
The latest victim to lose his life in a motor vehicle accident in the parish of Trelawny has been identified as 25-year-old Ashen Johnson of Albert Town in Trelawny.
Two other persons who were traveling in the same ill-fated vehicle are presently still at hospital in serious condition.
Reports by the Falmouth police are that, shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Johnson and three other persons were traveling in a Toyota Starlet motor car along the Daniel Town main road.
On reaching a section of the roadway, the driver lost control of the vehicle which skidded off the roadway and crashed into a tree. Johnson and two other passengers sustained head and body injuries. They were rushed to the Falmouth hospital where Johnson was pronounced dead and the other two were admitted in serious condition.
One officer attached to the Falmouth Traffic Department told our news team that, this a period where fatal crashes are prevalent and he is now encouraging motorist to cease from speeding and to use the roadways with caution.
