Farmer Shot and Killed in Cambridge, St James

Jamaica Crime News, St James: The Cambridge Police in the parish of St James are now carrying out investigations, surrounding the shooting death of a man in the Cambridge community on Saturday morning of May 12.

The deceased has been identified as, Carol Wint, 53-year-old farmer of Tank Road, also in Cambridge, St James.

Reports by the Cambridge Police are that, shortly after 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, residents of Cambridge community stumbled upon the body and alerted the police.                                                                                                                                       Upon arrival of the police, Wint was discovered lying along a section of the roadway in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

He was transported to the Cornwall Regional hospital where he was pronounced dead.
