Jamaica Crime News, Portland: 53-year-old George Wright, a farmer of Drapers Hill in San San, Clarendon, was chopped to death during a dispute with another man in his community on Tuesday morning, November 6.
The accused who was also wounded during the attack was treated at hospital and is presently under police guard.
Reports by the San San police are that shortly after 9:00 a.m., Wright and the other man got involved in a domestic dispute in their community.
During the dispute, Wright reportedly armed himself with a machete, which he used to attack the other man and chopped him several times.
The accused man also managed to get hold of a machete, which he used to chop his attacker multiple times to his upper body.
Both men sustained serious injuries and were transported to hospital by residents, where Wright was pronounced dead, and the accused treated and placed under police guard.
