Montego Bay, St James (Mckoy’s News) – The Farm Primary and Junior High School in Montego Bay is now celebrating 40 years of existence.

The teachers went on a dinner and boat ride on teachers day in May.

The celebration continued on Thursday June 1 with an appreciation ceremony at the “Day O Plantation Restaurant,” in Granville St James.

Two teachers who retired and other long standing workers were also honoured by the school board. The two teachers who were honoured on Thursday are Mrs. Norma Hackett Barton and Hazel Newell.

They both received Citations.

The current teachers also sang a song for the gathering.

The function was well attended.
