Farkland and Village to Compete in Portland Major League Football Next Season

Jamaica Sports News: Farkland and Village Football Clubs, will compete in the Western Union sponsored Portland Football Association’s Major league next season.

They earned the right after emerging the two top teams in the just concluded Portland division one playoffs, which also included the Port Antonio Academy.

Farkland finished atop the standings on 7 points, two more than Village, while Port Antonio Academy tallied 4 points.

In the final game of the playoff at Snoiw Hill, Village and Farkland played out a 3-all draw. Rudolph Agustus led the way for Farkland with a brace in minutes 12th and 34th and Rashede Bald also got two goals for Village in minutes number one and eight.
