A man has found himself behind bars, after making a fake bomb threat at an airport, to avoid meeting his long distance girlfriend, who he said have been pressuring him to buy airline tickets for her to see him.

The term “honesty is the best of policy,” doesn’t seem to apply to many people.  That was the case of Motaparthi Vamshi Krishna, a 32-year-old man from India who works as a travel agent, married while having an extra marital long distance affair with another.

The “sidechick” decided it was time for her to meet up with him, but he wasn’t able to afford the airline tickets, neither was he willing to meet her at the designated time. In too deep and lack the ability to be an honest man, Mr. Krishna made fake airline tickets for his girlfriend.

Shortly before the flight was “scheduled” last Saturday, he portrayed himself as a woman when he emailed the local police about a “terror plot he had overheard.

“hi sir am female here am doing this mail frim Hyderabad as i don’t want to revel my details couse am a female and scared of issues, and mailing u this couse in the after noon around 2pm while having lunch there were 6 guys talking those guys are musclims, they were talking abt plane hijack tomarrow in Hyderabad chennai and Mumbai airport they were talking very slowly but unfortunately i heard few conversations abt this, they were saying all us 23 people have to split from here and have to board flights in 3 cities and hijack them at a time. They spoke some other things also but i couls not hear them as i heard only these few sentences from them, i dont know do am i doing correct or not and they are true or not but heard this so kindly go through this and as i informed this as a duty and a citizen of india and pls dont make me to get into issues.”

Investigators were able to trace the email back to a local cafe where Mr. Krishna was identified, after security was immediately increased at the airport. The man later admitted to the fake bomb email, as an attempt to avoid meeting his online girlfriend. Now, Krishna faces four different charges and 5 years in jail. Plus. No information was given about his wife or the actual online girlfriend, but his decision has now landed him in jail.
