Jamaica Sports News: Jamaica is currently in fifth position going into day two of the Caribbean amateur golf championships, being played at the North Sound Golf Club in the Cayman Islands.

In the Hoerman Cup, William Knibbs is currently ranked third individually, with an even par 71, while the two rookies on the team seem to be holding their own.

The Jamaica music fraternity was plunged into mourning after the passing of “Carrot” formerly of world renowned group Third World.

Ricardo Perry is tied in 9th with a two over par 73 and Justin Burrrowes finished the day on six over par 77, while seasoned campaigner Sean Morris, shot 7 over.

In the George Teale competition, Kei Harris shot a steady round of 75 to finish tied in fifth position, while Emily Mayne finished her round with 86 and Eryn Blakeley shot 91.
