Jamaica News: The 2018-2019 English Premier League season kicked off Friday with a clash between Manchester United and Leicester City at Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba fresh off his world cup winning exploits with France captained the Red Devils for the first time and it was he who gave them the lead with a penalty after Alexis Sanchez was fouled.
Luke Shaw then doubled United’s rally with his first goal for the club with an 84th minute effort.
Jamie Vardy however wiped out the United cleansheet with a consolation for the Foxes in the 93rd minute.
The 2-1 win means Jose Mourinho’s side lead the table albeit for maybe a few hours as the other teams will be in action on Saturday and Sunday.
