Jamaica Crime News, St James: Our news team has learnt that Demar Dowe Scott, otherwise called “Ninja”  the 24-year-old Entertainment Coordinator, who was recently charged with raping two American female tourists at gunpoint, at a popular resort in Montego Bay, St James on Thursday night,  September 28, has now been handed over to the St. Elizabeth police to face additional rape charges.

Scott was recently charged by detectives attached to the Freeport Police Station in St James, for Illegal Possession of firearm and ammunition,  two counts of assault with intent to rob,  two counts of rape and two counts of grievous sexual assault.

He was transported to St Elizabeth on Wednesday and is now facing charges of rape committed in Balaclava district, six years ago, in 2012.

The police say  Scott is linked, to that incident by a forensic testing. The accused man is also waiting to be transported to Manchester, where he will face a series of identification parades for his alleged involvements in six other rape cases, burglary and robbery.

Scott, who was employed as a trainee  Entertainment Coordinator to the Reggae Riu Hotel in Rosehall and resides in Exchange, Ocho Rios, St Ann and Comfort District, in Williamsfield, Manchester, went to the room occupied by a licensed firearm holder and stole his licensed firearm.

About 11:15 p.m. that same Thursday night,  he broke into a room occupied by the two American visitors and held them at gunpoint with the stolen weapon.

He then forcefully had sex with them, while holding them at gunpoint.

While raping both women, the firearm fell from his hands and it was picked up by one of the victims, who opened fire hitting him to his arm.

Scott ran from the room and jumped from the balcony of the hotel, making his escaped in bushes, which surrounded the compound.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, both victims made a report, and handed over a Glock pistol, loaded with sixteen live rounds to them.
