The Barnett Street police have now commenced an investigation surrounding the stabbing and wounding of a 25-year-old, an engineer at the Montego Bay, Transport Centre in Montego Bay, St. James on Wednesday, February 6th.
The name of the injured is been withheld by the police.
Reports by the police are that shortly after 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday commuters, alerted the police after the man was seen lying on the pavement in a pool of blood.
The police rushed to the location and upon their arrival, the victim was seen lying in a pool of blood with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
The wounded man was rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was treated and admitted in serious condition.
