Jamaica News, Montego Bay: The Le Antonio’s Foundation, founded in 2013 and headed by Antonio McKoy, is a non-profit organization established to advance its Mission of “Serving Humanity.”
The Le Antonio’s Foundation strives to develop inner-city communities, in Jamaica, by providing an avenue through which members can become better individuals, socially, by participating in one of the many ventures offered by the organization.
One of the ventures offered is the End Bullying Globally Campaign.
Bullying has been a regular occurrence in Montego Bay and highlighting its negative effects is of paramount importance. When one thinks about being victimized chronically through bullying he or she will have a full-blown diagnosis of major depressive disorder or generalized anxiety disorder, which can lead to a number of criminal activities in the society.
The End Bullying Globally Campaign aims to solve, through education and professional network, illuminate the effects of bullying, and create structures of intervention, counseling and prevention mechanisms to support the youth who are affected.
The Le Antonio’s Foundation, in collaboration with a nine year old humanitarian who hails from Brooklyn, New York, Kymani Hines, have partnered to conduct an End Bullying Globally March in Montego Bay, on August 18, which will end with a Back to School Treat, aimed to assist inner city children with school bags and other school supplies for the coming school term.
The purpose of this march is to stand firmly against bullying and promote Love Unity and Strength
The venue and the march meeting location will be announced at a later date.
