Eleven Arrested Following Seizure of Firearm, Military Paraphernalia and Other Illegal Items in St Andrew

Latest Jamaica News, St Andrew (McKoy’s News): Eleven Arrested Following Seizure of Firearm Paraphernalia The St Andrew police have taken eleven persons into custody, following the seizure of a firearm, 13 rounds of ammunition, paraphernalia and marijuana, while they were carrying out operations in sections of St Andrew North Police Division on Tuesday. October 29.

During the operation carried out at Ackee Walk in St Andrew, eight men were taken into custody following the seizure of one imitation firearm, five 12 gauge cartridges, seven 9mm rounds of ammunition, one 5.56 round of ammunition, two holsters, one rifle telescope, one speed loader, and one rifle stock.

While on Chancery Street in St Andrew, three persons were arrested in relation to the seizure of approximately 18 bags of ganja and 21 boxes of uncustomed cigarettes.

The identities of the persons taken into custody are being held pending further investigations.
