Electrician Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Manchester

Jamaica News, Manchester: Electrician Killed 20-year-old Romeo Chambers, an electrician of New Hall district in Mandeville, Manchester, died from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred along a section of the Caledonia main road in the parish, on Sunday, March 17.

Reports by the Manchester police are that about 3:00 p.m., Chambers was riding a motorcycle along a section of the Caledonia main road.

Pedal Cyclist Killed in St Catherine Accident

On reaching the intersection of Caledonia road and another stretch of roadway, the driver of a Toyota Wish motorcar who was traveling in the opposite direction, attempted to make a right turn into the path of the motorcycle.

Chambers crashed into the front of the motor car and he was thrown from the motorcycle. He sustained head and body injuries and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
