Elderly Man Swept Away In Sandy Gully Found Dead

St Andrew, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Elderly Man Swept Away: An elderly man, identified as George Marshall, who was reportedly swept away by flood waters in the Sandy Gully in St Andrew yesterday afternoon, has been found dead. The man’s body was found in the gully this morning.

Last week was 12-yr-old Renaldo Reynolds, who is a student of Jones Town Primary was saved from a similar fate. He was on his way home from school when he and friends decided to play in the gully’s rushing waters and was swept away, however, he was saved by 24-year-old Tremayne Brown, who has been hailed as a hero by residents of Trench Town and Arnett Gardens is to receive a national award on Heroes Day.
