Latest Jamaica News, Manchester (McKoy’s News): Elderly Female Chopped to Death – An elderly woman was attacked and chopped to death in Porus, Manchester on Sunday, November 17.
She has been identified as 70-year-old Evadnie Gayle, otherwise called ‘Miss Birdie’.
According to reports, about 9.30 pm on Sunday, family members went to visit Gayle and discovered her body with multiple chop wounds and her throat slashed.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the scene as processed and the body later removed to the morgue.
Investigators are appealing to anyone with information regarding this murder to contact the nearest police station.
